Hello! My name is Roel Theunisz, also known as Rooler. I’m a 33 year old Dutch illustrator, (illustrative & graphic) designer, gamer and overall a good guy. As a little boy I liked to draw my favourite cartoon-characters like He-man, Skeletor, Optimus Prime, Bananaman, Spiderman and many others. I was always fascinated by cartoons, comics, paintings and other art-forms. In 1997 I came into contact with the art of the spraycan. I had the opportunity to learn from the great graffiti-artist Nash. Together with friends I spend my days skating, drawing, listening to punk, hiphop, and making walls more colorful and exciting. From the magical year 1999 till the end of year 2010 I was part of a dialect hiphop formation from Maastricht, well known under the name Pikkatrillaz. I was one of the five mc’s and at the same time responsible for the graphic design and merchandise. After 11 years we decided to end a great time rocking the stage. We now look back on a time of good fun, creativity and friendship. The year of 2010 ended with the beginning of parenthood. My beautiful daughter was born. New emotions and feelings gave me inspiration for new developments within my designs and illustrations. These days I work hard to continue to develop my illustrative skills even more and keep on creating wonderful designs en fantastic illustrations. In my spare time I like to read fantasy books, heat up my PS3 to rock the Battlefield with my platoon, play with my daughter and enjoy life to the fullest!
